Who is Ms. 1000?

Names behind the Numbers

The current NOMA record holds that there are less than 600 African American female architects who are licensed and currently practicing in the nation. If we maintain the current trajectory we will reach Ms.1000 in the year 2040.

Empower Ms.1000

Letters to Ms. 1000 is seeking letters from currently licensed African American female architects written to those at the educational or prelicensure level as a part of a mentoring initiative for publication. We can aid in changing the narrative and empower our future Ms. Architect for many generations to come with our words of wisdom and encouragement.
